WoW Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand
Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand

Today we are going to talk about the WoW Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand here! Know anything about it? How to get it? Ok, be at ease, read this little and then you will get everything you should know about here.

Yes, Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand lives on multiple best-in-slot lists. At least, those BIS lists that don't include Shadowmourne and other Heroic content.

My favorite aspect of this epic blade is that it's blade from the Silver Hand, which is a more than significant bit of game lore. Since this weapon drops from Arthas, I think it's fairly clear that he somehow had been hoarding it (and other weapons) after having captured the weapon in combat.

For retribution paladins, this blade is especially attractive. I mean, the weapon is great for all of the two-handed DPS classes. But the weapon has a lot of strength, critical strike rating, and expertise, yet completely avoids wasting itemization points on armor penetration. This aspect makes it wonderfully suited to the class that has almost no use for ArP.

Sadly, though, Glorenzelg continues the trend of duct tape. Apparently, when the Lich King stole the weapon from the Silver Hand, he had to bind it back together. He chose to repair the weapon with skull-themed duct tape. That's okay. There's not much that the liberal application of some duct tape won't fix.

Name: Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand
Type: Two-Hand Sword
Damage: 895 - 1344 Damage (311.0 damage per second)
Speed: 3.60
Attributes:

  • 181 Strength
  • 197 Stamina
  • 2 Red Sockets
  • Socket Bonus: +6 Strength
  • Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 115 (2.51% @ L80).
  • Equip: Increases your expertise rating by 99 (12.08 @ L80).

How to get it: Get a raid together, including 24 of your best friends. As you methodically improve your skills, eventually approach and kill Arthas. He has a 30% chance or so of dropping this weapon. (At least, as of the time of this writing.)
How to get rid of it: If you're not about to pick up a Heroic version of the weapon, or perhaps Shadowmourne, don't. That being said, it breaks into an Abyss Crystal or sells for 31 gold, 57 silver, and 15 copper.

How do you think of this WoW Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand? Maybe you can get one and maybe it will be helpful for you! Fine, we have lots of cheap wow gold is waiting for you, you may buy wow gold with fast delivery to cope with your difficulties in the game now.

    WoW Nature's Grace Changing

Yes, folks, it is ture, today we are talking about WoW Nature's Grace. Have you ever got some about it? Right, this long-standing talent that has been a staple in balance builds since WoW was released. Much like Eclipse, Ghostcrawler has already stated that Nature's Grace is high on the list to be changed. Also like Eclipse, many people wonder why Nature's Grace hasn't already been changed as it is so problematic. While Ghostcrawler mentions it's a big deal, many people fail to understand how big of a deal Nature's Grace really is.

Nature's Grace is an awesome talent. It is a tad over-budget, but not nearly as much as Eclipse is, and, honestly, having an over-budget talent here or there isn't necessarily a terrible thing in of itself. The only thing that plagues Nature's Grace is how easily it allows for Wrath to be GCD capped. Again, though, this isn't so terrible of a prospect in of itself. After all, this is a mechanic that balance druids have been dealing with since haste was introduced into the game. Wrath ramming into GCD issues like the Titanic hitting an iceberg only became problematic when balance druids also failed to turn just a little to the left during patch 3.2. Prior to patch 3.2, Wrath was maybe only 10% of our overall damage done, so any scaling issues that it had was fairly trivial. When patch 3.2 came around and Wrath jumped from 10% of our damage, or less, to being 40% or more of our damage, the scaling issues became a real problem.

This is why Nature's Grace WoW became a very hot topic for balance druids during patch 3.3. It was just not to be, though. Changing Nature's Grace, as Ghostcrawler and I said, is a very big deal. Not merely in terms of the DPS it provides, but also in terms of the scaling factors and the influence it has on PvP. Balance druids are notorious for our relatively low crit scaling, and quite a significant chunk of that scaling is tied into Nature's Grace. Any change or nerf to Nature's Grace is also going to have to address those scaling issues either by modifying an existing talent or by adding in a new talent -- which balance druids can hardly afford to have at this point in time. The PvP utility of Nature's Grace also cannot be ignored. Balance PvP is focused around several abilities with short cast times, predominately Wrath, but also Cyclone and Entangling Roots. While Nature's Grace isn't always up for these spells, it is still a factor to consider. The faster the druid can get these casts off, the less likely they are to be interrupted or suffer any pushback on them.

There is a very heavy burden placed upon Nature's Grace. As far as talents go, it is one of our main workhorses in terms of raw DPS output and crit scaling. Changing it isn't a simple matter, but the fact remains that it is a talent that simply cannot remain as it is today. At least, of course, if Wrath is also to remain as it is. Although we have been promised that stat scaling will be significantly less cumbersome in Cataclysm, if both Wrath and Nature's Grace remain as they are, then the soft cap on haste for Wrath would still remain far too low. Something has to be changed, and WoW Nature's Grace is a much easier target for this than Wrath. How then to change it? Here are the most common suggestions that I've seen:

Nerf the haste effect from 20% to 10%.

Pros:
  • Significantly reduces the soft cap for Wrath to a more manageable level.
  • Retains some of the core functionality of the talent.
  • Easy to make, balance around, off-set, and implement.
Cons:
  • Wrath would still be haste capped in special circumstances such as Heroism.
  • Slightly hinders balance druid PvP.
Increase Wrath's crit chance instead of haste.

Pros:
  • Virtually eliminates the soft cap for Wrath.
  • Retains the basic functions of the talent.
  • Feeds into itself similar to how the current talent functions.
Cons:
  • Introduces the concept of a Wrath crit cap
  • Reduced effectiveness of Nature's Grace in PvP for Wrath casting.
  • Makes the talent function awkwardly by effecting different spells differently.
Increase Wrath's damage instead of haste.

Pros:
  • Virtually eliminates the soft cap for Wrath.
  • Retains the basic functions of the talent.
  • Creates a more predictable damage boost for balance PvP
Cons:
  • Scaling modifier would not integrate well with existing talents.
  • Does not 'feed upon itself' for Wrath as it does for Starfire.
  • Makes the talent function awkwardly by effecting different spells differently.

Conclusion(?):

There isn't really a cut-and-dry method for altering WoW Nature's Grace. Too much of changing this talent depends on other factors in order for any concrete, "this is clearly the best solution" method to be laid out. Any of those three options are certainly viable to a degree, as are many of the others that are floating about the internet. On the sake of principle, I generally agree with taking the easiest solution which would be to merely make a flat nerf to Nature's Grace functionality to be the best approach. Beyond the simplicity of the change, the other two have a few glaring flaws within them that I don't particularly care for.

To start with, having Nature's Grace increase Wrath's critical strike chance causes additional crit scaling issues more so than it solves them. Wrath currently scales fairly well with crit, but a majority of that is due to the current nature of Nature's Grace (and, yes, even sick I can make a few good funnies.) In all actuality, Wrath scales slightly better than Starfire with haste because of how talents such as Starlight Wrath function. Since more haste, especially multiplicatively stacking haste, yields a higher return than less haste, spells with shorter cast times benefit more from flat cast time reductions of equal value than longer cast times. The only reason that Wrath's superior scaling isn't more obvious is because it is currently too easy to haste cap the spell via Nature's Grace. Removing that scaling point would certainly do wonders for Wrath's haste scaling, but its crit scaling would need to be looked at.

Which brings up the second major issues with making that change. Crit holds a significantly lower value for Wrath than haste does. In order for the damage increase of Nature's Grace WoW to remain fairly constant across both Wrath and Starfire, the increase to Wrath's crit chance would have to be in the range of 30 - 35%. The reason for there being a range is due to how the talent scales within itself at various gear levels. For a majority of the time, the effect would have to be at 35% in order to equalize the damage, however once you hit a level of gearing similar to ICC, the scale slides closer to 30%. The inability for the talent to retain a paltry damage increase is only one part of the issue - the other being that it brings in the chance of crit capping Wrath. Balance druids are already concerned about crit capping Starfire with a 40% increase to crit chance during Eclipse, and, honestly, it was a concern even at 30% as well. Having the potential to crit cap two of our spells is not good juju and really screws over the scaling system, not to mention it is something that Blizzard is hoping to avoid in the next expansion.

For the change to increase Wrath's raw damage via a modifier on Nature's Grace instead of haste, the issue is simply one of such increases generally not playing well with each other. Although it could potentially be coded differently, it is most probable that the effect would function similar to the Eclipse buff and thus be additive with both Eclipse and Moonfury. Considering those factors, the effect would also have to boarder into the 30 - 35% range, though leaning closer to the 30% mark if I'm recalling the math correctly. Running around with a Wrath that has a 80 - 85% modifier tacked onto it isn't exactly fun game design as it makes the spell seem weak, and Nature's Grace feel 'boring' which is another factor that Blizzard is trying to avoid. Stacking massive amounts of damage multipliers simply doesn't make for good game design, they become convoluted within damage calculations and scaling. While they are generally a bit easier to adjust, a talent such as Nature's Grace shouldn't be the target of a fundamental balancing point for balance druids.

In the end, I still think that the simple solution of a flat nerf to WoW Nature's Grace, while tweaking existing talents or adding in a new one to equalize out the damage, is probably the best option and the most likely one that Blizzard is to take; there really isn't any means of knowing at this point. When it comes to Nature's Grace, there are simply too many factors at play to predict exactly where the foot should fall. Perhaps the best method is to merely leave Nature's Grace alone and abandon Wrath for balance PvE, perhaps Nature's Grace should see sweeping changes that drastically alters its function. With Nature's Grace, the code word of the day is always going to be perhaps.

So here is the end of the Nature's Grace changing. Now if you are looking for some cheap wow gold , here is the right place! http://www.gmbar.com is a professional website for you to buy wow gold here. Just looking around at gmbar, you will benefit more!

WoW Frozen Orbs to be Greed Only in Patch 3.3.3
WoW Frozen Orbs

Got that? WoW Frozen Orbs to be Greed Only in Patch 3.3.3! Well, this is a welcome change -- now that Frozen Orbs are going to be the new crafting tokens, exchangeable for Frost Lotus and Eternal Fire, among other things, Wryxian announced that they will be greed only in the upcoming patch.

Wryxian

No, you won't be able to exchange WoW Frozen Orbs for Emblems of Frost. Yeah it just takes one person to press Need after everyone's pressed Greed on the Frozen Orbs and you miss out. But the good news is that in patch 3.3.3 this won't be the case anymore -- the roll for WoW Frozen Orbs will be an automatic Greed roll. Rejoice!

I wonder whether this is now some sort of flag in their database that they could use for other items. Like Books of Glyph Mastery. Nothing is more annoying than someone ninja looting jerk looting something that everyone gains equal benefit from.

Edit: Ninjas are cool. People who steal from their peers are not. Stop calling them ninjas.

Star Wars: The Old Republic : EA's Largest Ever Project

Eurogamer reported that Star Wars : The Old Republic is EA's largest ever project. What do you think of it? Ok, maybe we can take a view at the details first.

BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic is the most expensive game ever created at EA.

The publisher's chief banker Eric Brown described the MMO as the "largest ever development project, period, in the history of the company".

He said a packaged game usually costs around $30m to make at EA, but "any MMO costs significantly more than that".

When asked by a member of the Wedbush Morgan Securities audience in New York today how the cost compared to World of Warcraft, Brown said Blizzard spent "$100 million, perhaps more" to ship the game in 2004.

"That's lifetime [research and development] to actually ship it and obviously then there's maintenance subsequent to ship and expansion packs," Brown added.

These days, WOW makes around $100m a month from subscriptions. EA no doubt hopes SWTOR will recoup costs in a similar fashion.

"MMOs are sizeable undertakings," quipped Brown.

EA is steering Star Wars: The Old Republic towards a spring 2011 release. Take that with a pinch of salt, as these things slip.

So now could you tell us what's your thoughts on it? Welcome to leave a comment here!

New Planet: SWTOR Belsavis and Blood of the Empire Webcomic Announced

According to the official news, Star Wars: The Old Republic : New Planet: Belsavis and "Blood of the Empire" Webcomic Announced here. So this post is divided into two parts. First, we would take a look at the new planet, SWTOR Belsavis, and then about the Blood of the Empire Webcomic here.

Now let's take a look at the Belsavis here:

Republic knowledge of Belsavis predates the Great Hyperspace War, but for centuries, the planet warranted little attention. With the exception of some unusual volcanic activity, the planet was deemed, in all ways, unremarkable. Belsavis was added to the star charts then summarily dismissed as nothing more than another curiosity of the Outer Rim.

Fifty years ago, while investigating the planet's tropical rifts that seemed to defy the ice shelves in completely unnatural ways, Republic scientists stumbled upon an ancient prison constructed by the Rakatan Empire. Behind the force fields and ultra hard metals were the most terrifying prisoners in the galaxy. Republic efforts to explore and secure the dilapidated network of vaults were impeded by ferocious alien species, and nearly unstoppable droids.

Realizing it was only a matter of time before the vaults and stasis chambers containing the worst of these prisoners failed, the Republic committed a force to maintain the complex, and establish a new Republic prison on Belsavis¡¯ unused surface. In secret Strategic Information Service meetings it was decided that this new prison, dubbed "the Tomb", was only to be used in cases where execution was impractical or impossible.

Once the Great War erupted, the Tomb's population rapidly increased. Mandalorians, Sith Lords, and creations of Sith alchemy were sent to Belsavis for containment. As rumors of the Tomb¡¯s existence spread, Imperial Intelligence began searching for the legendary super prison. Despite Republic efforts to keep its location a secret, the Empire learned of the operation on Belsavis and sent strike teams to liberate all the imprisoned Sith.

In the short time since the Imperials arrived, the prison grounds have been transformed into a labyrinth of battle and chaos. The Empire has discovered that extracting its loyal subjects from among their violent fellow inmates will not be easy, and even though the Republic is rushing to restore order, the threat of the mysterious evil breaking loose from its ancient prison is becoming all too real.

And we also know that Blood of the Empire Webcomic is also coming for us.

BioWare™ and LucasArts have once again teamed up with Dark Horse to create this original comic series published entirely online. Blood of the Empire features a new perspective and strong character-driven story written by BioWare's Senior Writer Alexander Freed and published by Dark Horse.

Set in the years before the Treaty of Coruscant and the establishment of peace between the great galactic powers, Blood of the Empire sets the stage for The Old Republic with new heroes, new villains and new revelations about the inner workings of the Emperor's cabal.

Be on the lookout for the release of the first issue of SWTOR Blood of the Empire coming soon on the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ website. Get a sneak peek at the series now!

Huh, if you are interested in getting more Star Wars: The Old Republic news, remember us and visit often, we would keep an eye on it for you always.

GDC 2010: New STO Playable Factions Will be Live
New STO Playable Factions
According to the interview, seems that new STO Playable Factions will be live with us here! Then what factions would be coming? They aren't sure yet, though Craig does admit many of the development team are interested in introducing Romulans to the game:
There's a huge amount of the dev team right now interested in doing Romulan. I think the Borg would be really interesting as just something totally different, totally different gameplay. There are a lot of really cool mechanics, a lot of really cool things you can do there. Really, if you're in the MMO for the long haul, there are going to be a lot more playable factions, you can't stop with those two. There's Jem'Hadar, you're going to be going to the Dominion, there's Cardassians [...] so many playable factions that we can and will be releasing with the game.

Cryptic is looking at the next big update to arrive for Star Trek Online around July, with another possibly near November: "We know that we just had a player survey when you first arrive at the site, and, like, ship interiors. [Players] want a whole lot more there, want a whole lot more functionality, why are other players coming to my ship, what's going on there? So we're making sure in July that's one of the things that we do. There's a big huge outcry for first contact missions, diplomacy missions, more non-combat within Star Trek, so we're really making sure with that July update we're really focusing on that."

It sounds like we can look for a lot of new content tailored to what the community wants coming with the July update, so we'll be keeping a very close eye out for more information. (There was brief mention of the Horta being a playable race as well. We can only hope.)

Ok, if you are also interested in the new STO Playable Factions, please pay attention to us, we would post the latest news here for you! PS: Unique sto energy credits is ready here for you with the lowest price and fastest delivery here. Gome to grab some and benefit more now!

Final Fantasy XIV Battle Theme Released Here!
Cool! Wanna know more latest Final Fantasy 14 News? Here it is, Final Fantasy XIV Battle Theme released here for us now! So let's take a look at the detailed info.

Someday ago we talk about FFXIVCore's bonanza of FFXIV information revealed in this month's issue of Famitsu. That post has since been updated with info on several more classes as well as the game's battle theme. FFXIVCore has also posted a translation of a lengthy interview from Japanese magazine Dengeki on FFXIV.

Final Fantasy XIV Battle Theme

The interview discusses a number of general game mechanics, now read the detailed info from the original source in Final Fantasy XIV Battle:

Dengeki Playsation is out this week and has a lot of great insight from the developers! Dengeki asked questions about each class and about the beta test and battle in general. The last page was one long interview with side commentary by the writer and the editor. They sound like some of us talking about this news on the Core, and I thought you might enjoy it.

First thing's first, let's get that interview out at you! We'll be adding more as it is translated, and Aya and I are working diligently to get you the tidbits you crave.

Don't forget yesterday's news bonanza, including magic, crafting, and gathering classes, and a download of the battle theme released on the Japanese website! If you haven't seen our post yet, what are you waiting for?

Update #1: Scans added.
Update #2: Writer and Editor commentary on alpha screen shot added and gladiator Q & A added.
Update #3: Marauder and archer Q & A added.
Update #4: Conjurer and thaumaturge Q & A added.
Update #5: Pugilist and lancer Q & A added.
Update #6: Miner and blacksmith Q & A added.

Special Q&A with Developers

We're learning more and more about FFXIV, but it's still not enough! We had an interview with the developers to shed a little more light on everything for us.

Beta test
Q: How long will the ffxiv beta test be?
A: We're actually trying to figure that out ourselves.

Q: About how much will be playable in the beta version?
A: Not even half. We want to balance the game while revealing as little as we can. We'll start with an alpha test, but there will hardly be anything in it at all. That way it's easier to implement users' opinions into the game.

Q: Please tell us the recommended specs for the Windows alpha and beta tests.
A: At this point we're trying to adjust the game to fit computers as well as possible, so the alpha test may require quite a powerful CPU. The graphics board must be DirectX 9 compliant, but should work with graphics boards from a few years ago. 512MB of VRAM should be enough. More detailed specs will be available on the ffxiv beta test site.

Q: Will the beta test ffxiv start at the same time for PS3 and Windows?
A: The alpha test will only be for Windows, but we're not sure about the beta test yet.

(The supervising writer and supervising editor have a few asides written into the article)
Editor: Looks like it's going to start pretty soon!
Writer: I wonder how long the alpha test is going to be. Maybe a month?
Editor: The alpha test will probably run for about a month, and the beta is said to last for six months. I wonder if we'll be able to use a controller in the windows version?

Q: Will FFXI players be able to bring over their friends lists and other community-related things to FFXIV?
A: We don't have anything specific planned yet, but we'd like FFXI players to be able to play on the same world as the friends they played with together in FFXI.

Q: 9 classes have been released so far, but will these all be playable in the FFXIV Beta? Also, will these classes be available when making a character for the beta test?
A: Yes, they won't be fully functional, but they will be playable.

Q: Will there be more classes available to play in the beta test?
A: We're not sure yet.

Q: What do you think the roles of each class are?
A: We kind of broke it down like this:
Gladiator: Defender of the weak and defeater of the strong. He is the party's greatest defense. For all-around players.
Pugilist: The front-line brawler. The pugilist needs to think on his feet to control his stances. He's the party's jump-into-the-fray role. Made for people who don't sweat the small stuff.
Lancer: A physical fighter who attacks from a distance, the lancer must have the power to make decisions based on the situation. The party's last line of defense. For the tactical player.
Marauder: A powerful, overpowering, macho attacker. The trump card in ffxiv battle. Made for those who want the most glorious parts of the battle.
Archer: The sniper who watches the battle from afar and waits for his chance to strike. The party's shortstop. For people who love being alone.
Conjurer:The support role who can change his role in battle from attacker to defender to healer based on the situation. For those who like to be in control.
Thaumaturge: The party's strategist that controls everything in the field through status-changing magic. For those who like to plan out their battles.
Miner: The gatherer of all-important metals sold in the markets. A rare find can make him a lot of money. For those who like to work at something little by little.
Blacksmith:The repairer and crafter of metal-based weapons and tools. He never hungers for customers. For those who enjoy working with customers.

Writer: I'm glad we can use any of these classes from the beginning.
Editor: There will be close- and long-range disciplines of war, so there should be some balanced parties, too. I wonder if the gladiator's first weapon is a short sword?
Writer: I bet other weapons are sold at shops!
Editor: And that the weapons sold at the shops are different depending on the country!

Now read more details on FFXIVCORE about Final Fantasy XIV Battle Theme here. More FFXIV News would be here for you later. Tips: we provide ffxiv cd key pre-order here, we promise that we would offer the most competitive price and instant delivery for you then.

Below is a news announced that Blizzard opens up official WoW Trading Card Game forums, interested it? Read it.

With all the news regarding the WoW Trading Card Game, avid players have been wondering exactly what's going on, where the license is going, and who's going to be producing new cards, if any. While there aren't any answers to these questions specifically, it's heartening to note that Blizzard just added a new Trading Card Game section to the official forums, solely for discussion about the TCG. The card game hasn't been forgotten, and neither have its players.

The question of what the future of the Trading Card Game will bring has already been addressed on the forums by Eyonix, who restated Blizzard's earlier announcement that Blizzard and UDE would be parting ways. He also reassured players that Blizzard is committed to supporting the TCG and will be releasing new content in the near future, although there are still no new details as to who is picking up the license.

While this also doesn't really answer any questions, it's good to know that Blizzard is still thinking about the TCG community -- and this gives an ideal place for Blizzard to post any updates regarding the game's production. Hopefully we'll see more news on the future of the TCG soon.
